We are looking for a creative, entrepreneurial and highly-organised marketing professional with a passion for the arts and education to join our team at Chickenshed. This is a crucial role for the organisation, recognised as integral to our marketing and promotional activity. The role is responsible for leading the marketing, design and promotional activities for Chickenshed’s education, outreach, fundraising activities and events, as well as managing internal marketing requirements. We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic professional who can lead on activities from start to finish. The role holder will act as a business partner to key stakeholders across the organisation and manage all aspects from planning, budgeting, writing copy, artworking and design, briefing suppliers, promotional activity, creating brochures, newsletters, flyer distribution, listings and conferences. Essential Skills & Experience Excellent communications and interpersonal skills Able to lead multiple projects from start to finish with pace and urgency Highly skilled in writing persuasive copy, editing and proof-reading, with close attention to detail Desirable Skills & Experience Previous experience of working in education or charity marketing Comfortable using design software, for example Adobe In Design Applications should be made by email in the format of CV with a covering letter.
