Make Christmas special by creating your own ceramic decorations. Using a range of cutters and materials to add texture this activity is suitable for all ages.
Your decorations will be fired in a kiln and we will let you know when you can collect them. Cost is £3 for a large lump of clay so make as many as you want. This is a drop in activity so no need to book. Last entry 2pm.
Our tea room will be open as usual from 10am - 3pm.
Have a tramp around the farm, gathering your foliage from the Farm's trees and hedgerows, then head back to the Black Barn to create your festive door wreath to take home. Please bring scissors or secateurs if you have them (though some will be available to borrow for a small deposit). Wrap up warm and don’t forget your wellies! Suitable for families, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
Escape the hustle and bustle and spend a joyful couple of hours with us in the run up to Christmas learning the art of biscuit icing and decorating. This workshop will be led by local baker Suzanne Randle who will teach you a range of tricks and techniques that you will be able to use time and time again. You’ll leave the workshop with 10 stunning iced ginger biscuits in a presentation box. The biscuits have a shelf life of 4 weeks making them a thoughtful and original gift. Suitable for all levels. Children over the age of 9 are welcome with adult supervision. Workshop takes place on 8th December 2-4pm
Make a traditional Christmas cracker, write your letter to Father Christmas with one of our quills and seal it with wax. Materials provided to make the cracker. Bring along a small gift to put in your cracker if you like.

Join us for a Traditional Winter Festival at Salisbury House.
With fantastic local makers and sellers for your Christmas gifts plus festive food and drink from our Tea Room. This year we have the magical 'Green Grotto', a very traditional winter experience. You can make a tree decoration in our special workshop and visit Mother Christmas (the Big Man will be very busy) where you can leave your letter for Father Christmas and receive a gift bag. (£5 for each activity).
Hang a message on our Winter Wishing Tree and enjoy some very traditional seasonal entertainment.

Acclaimed musicians GreenMatthews (with special guest Jude Rees of Pilgrims’ Way) present a festive romp through 600 years of Christmas music, songs and carols. Beginning in the Middle Ages and ending in the 20th century, ‘A Brief History of Christmas’ is a whistle-stop tour of the origins of our midwinter festivities. Featuring long-forgotten songs and tales as well as some familiar and well-loved carols, ‘A Brief History of Christmas‘ is a show guaranteed to delight the hearts of young and old.
The show takes in 600 years of music – featuring music and songs played on archaic instruments such as cittern, shawm and rauschpfeife, as well as more familiar instruments such as guitar, flute, oboe and accordion - all helped along by GreenMatthews‘ trademark wit and humour. ‘A Brief History of Christmas‘ is the perfect show for anyone looking to recapture the simple Yuletide delights of fellowship, laughter and good cheer.
Enfield Sounds Great are delighted to announce its inaugural concert to raise funds for this new charity providing Music Participation for the whole community. The concert features performances by singers from Southgate Opera and musicians from the Enfield Brass Band.
Enfield Sounds Great was set up in April this year following the work of Enfield Councillor Bernadette Lappage during her Mayoral year. The charity will continue the work started in the mayoral year by providing opportunities to participate in music by Enfield's most vulnerable communities. The English Jazz Orchestra return to the Dugdale Centre to present a great evening of swing to raise essential funds for the Enfield Christmas Parade of Lights, an annual parade through Enfield Town presented by locally community groups.

Following on from last year’s sell-out tour, European Arts Company returns with a heart-warming evening in the presence of the author himself. A Christmas Carol was the first performance Charles Dickens gave of his own work. He enacted it over 150 times and the effect on the public was phenomenal. This Christmas, you can experience what it must have been like to be in the audience! Come and enjoy a seasonal treat in the spirit of Christmas past, present and future.
Many young carers will be facing a cold, hungry Christmas with little or no gifts coming their way. We are reaching out to see if anyone may have an unwrapped gift they would be willing to give to this young individuals who care for family members or friends. The gifts will be given out at a special you carers Christmas party on the 19th December.
In 2017 together we aimed to support the most vulnerable in our society by providing food and toys to families and individuals over the Christmas period.
Christmas 2017 was a very successful project, delivering to over 70 families in the North London area. The charities provided, along with kind donations, food parcels and toys for children and their families.
Our Christmas Toy Appeal has launched for 2018! We are hoping we can be bigger and better then last year!
